Hanwha Engine Volunteer Corps members collect a fixed amount from their monthly salary and spare change to raise social contribution funds. The company additionally contributes 100% of the funds collected by employees through matching grants, which are used monthly for talent development and independence, environmental protection activities, and support for the underprivileged.

Supporting Growth and Independence of Special Students

We have signed an MOU with Changwon Cheongwang School, a special school, and are conducting various activities to help independence. We operate sports classes, training mind and body through exercise, and activities that help emotional development. We also actively collaborate in school enterprise operations and maintain active exchange activities.

Children's Group Home Support

We have partnered with 'Children's Group Homes', small facilities providing childcare services tailored to individual characteristics, delivering dreams and hope to children through financial support and experiential activities. Currently supporting 4 group homes in the Changwon area, we promote children's growth and independence opportunities through learning support including academy classes and self-reliance programs.

Career Exploration

Yanggok Middle School Free Semester Support

In the form of talent donation by Hanwha Engine employees and club members, we support free semester activities for Yanggok Middle School students, providing opportunities for middle school students to discover themselves and explore their aptitudes. Additionally, we actively participate in community involvement and development activities through industry-academia cooperative volunteer activities with Yanggok Middle School students.

Bongam Tidal Flat Ecological Learning Center Care

We are conducting various activities to care for the Bongam Tidal Flat Ecological Learning Center, which is directly visible from Hanwha Engine. We provide shelters for migratory birds visiting Bongam Tidal Flat, supplement facilities, and conduct environmental cleanup activities such as picking up discarded trash to create a clean environment where crabs, earthworms, and salt-tolerant plants can thrive.

Ocean Environmental Cleanup Activities

We are joining forces in clean ocean care activities by collecting discarded styrofoam, empty bottles, and vinyl around the Namcheon area in Changwon near Hanwha Engine's shipping dock.

Support for Elderly in Underserved Areas

We provide oriental medicine treatment and meals to address nutritional imbalances for residents of island villages and elderly in rural areas that are underserved in culture, medical care, education, and economy. We also prevent environmental improvement and community issues through environmental cleanup and renovation of aging facilities.

Helping Hands for Rural Farms

Hanwha Engine Volunteer Corps is conducting helping hands activities for rural farms, such as persimmon picking support, to help farms struggling with labor shortages during the busy farming season.

Small Love Society Volunteer Club Activities

Since the company was established in 2000, employees have voluntarily formed a volunteer activity club called 'Small Love Society' and visit nearby nursing homes to conduct monthly volunteer service activities.

Blood Donation Sharing

Practicing Sharing Love Through Blood Donation

All Hanwha Engine employees have designated a blood donation day, 'Heart Day of Love', to practice sharing love through blood donation. Employees who participate in blood donation donate their blood donation certificates for use by employees and families in need of emergency transfusions, practicing true love sharing twice over.
